It's a good thing for John Slitti that Amy Otsuji is a very forgiving person. The two met at a club, where John, an electrical engineer, was watching a Wings game with a friend, and Amy, an exercise physiologist, was doing the same with her friend. THE BRIDE Amy Otsuji THE GROOM John Slitti THE DATE October 27 John's friend and Amy's friend struck up a conversation, and when John came over to join in, he knocked a drink all over Amy's pants. I yelled at him, she admits, and he ignored me for the most of the evening. But at the end of the night he asked me to dance, and he gave me his number. He also gave me his jacket in the dead of winter so that I would not be cold walking to my car. Despite John's chivalry, Amy almost threw the number away when she came across it while cleaning off her dresser. It sat there for a week before she finally called. Two years later, John filled Amy's apartment with candles, got down on one knee, and proposed marriage to Amy who cried through it all.

Amy and John's elegant reception was at the Glen Oaks golf course in Farmington Hills. They loved the beautiful grounds of the rolling golf course (offering lots of great wedding-photo spots), as well as the large windows that brought those views inside the club. Tables were set with flowers and candles, with sprinklings of lush red rose petals.
