The black-and-white marble cake, covered with pink fondant icing, reflected the wedding's signature colors and motif.
Amy and John selected a vibrant color scheme of raspberry and orange -- as seen on the reception tables and in the girls' bouquets.
Amy didn't extend her color scheme to the bridesmaid dresses. I thought that if I made them wear pink or orange I'd have no friends left, Amy says with a laugh.
Two wreaths, one with an A in the center and the other with a J, were hung on the gates of the church courtyard. Colonial-era–clad musicians playing a fife and drum followed the wedding party and guests as they walked from the church to the reception.
