Amelita and David should have met on several occasions. They are both from the same town, their families have known each other forever, and they even worked out at the same gym. But it wasn't until a debutante party that their paths finally crossed. The Bride Amelita Moorman, 25, fine art appraiser The Groom David Mauze, 29, general contractor The Date February 23 After David's sunset proposal, the couple decided they wanted to get married in February: For Amelita, its got perfect San Antonio weather; for David, an avid hunter, it's the off-season. There was just one glitch: They only had six months to plan it! Fortunately, they had their venue (a private club founded by the bride's grandmother). And with a lot of help from Amelita's mom, all the details fell into place.

Music played a major role in the ceremony. A choir sang the Lord's Prayer, and the couple also had an organist, trumpeter, and harpist.
The bride's cousins were more than happy to wear flower garlands in their hair for their supporting role as flower girls.
Simple bouquets of white sweet peas complemented the bridesmaid dresses.
Lilies, orchids, white hydrangea, and Sahara roses in silver vases accented the center of each table.
To complement the bride's bouquet, the groom pinned lily of the valley to his lapel.
The reception took place at an old southern mansion. Because the guest list was so big, tables were set up both indoors and out. Most of the older guests sat indoors, entertained by a piano player or a five-piece string band, while the couple's friends sat outside.
The 15 attendants wore champagne-colored gowns and smoke-colored wraps.
The lily of the valley motif carried over into the invitation design with gold print on classic white cardstock.
The band Lucky Strikes crooned Our Love is Here to Stay as the couple danced together.
The Exit
Amelita carried the wedding's signature flower, lily of the valley, and white ranunculus down the aisle.
Edible lily of the valley blooms decorated the five-tiered, vanilla cake.
