Amber and Ryan met one summer while working at the same bakery and deli. The two ended up in an accounting class and used studying as an excuse to get to know each other. They dated for a year, but went their separate ways when both relocated to different cities after college. As luck would have it, each moved back to Columbus four years later, and they decided to give romance another try. The Bride Amber Horstman, 28, hotel sales manager The Groom Ryan Durant, 28, treasury management officer The Date April 26 After about two years of dating, Amber was completely surprised when Ryan proposed in Central Park on a belated birthday trip to New York City. Since they both live and work in Columbus, the town made for the perfect wedding location.

The blush and black escort cards included the guest's name, a symbol of what they ordered for dinner and the New York City name of the table where they were seated.
Amber's bouquet included pink cymbidium orchids, pink and white peonies, sweet pea, mini pink callas and light pink and champagne roses.
The tables were set with modern square black plates. The venue's chef created a menu of colorful foods like red Skinned Mashed Potatoes, vegetable ratatouille, and blood orange marinated chicken breast.
We chose five-tiers to go with our downtown city feel -- kind of like a skyscraper building, says Amber. The cake was also decorated with pink orchids.
The church's beautiful marble exterior and the light streaming in from its stained-glass windows created an elegant atmosphere.
The couple shared their first dance to 'Stay with You' by John Legend. The song is particularly meaningful since Legend is from Amber's hometown.
The tables were covered in champagne-colored linens with black chair covers, and black napkins. Pink orchids added pops of color to each table.
The couple chose their reception site because the views of Columbus' downtown skyline reflected their city theme. The site is an old warehouse and still has brick walls, steel beams and piping.
The bridesmaids carried a mix of pale pink peonies, pink mini-cymbidium orchids, pink sweet pea and light pink roses.
The champagne and blush-colored programs were tied with a pink ribbon finished off with a pink seal on the front cover.
The couple decorated the pews with champagne ribbons and pink dendrobium orchids.
Ryan wore a single white cymbidium orchid on his lapel.
