Mayo Woodward's proposal to Amber Peterson was decidedly laid-back. The couple was preparing for a vacation with Amber's family, and on the morning of their departure everyone was lounging in their pajamas. Her mother and sister shrieked at him for spilling the beans, but Mayo simply turned around, ran to the car, fetched the ring, and said, Will you? They married at a shabby-chic-themed wedding in Steinhatchee.

The bridesmaids wore tea-length black satin dresses accented with vintage brooches at the waist.
Sand dollars, along with silver spoons encrusted with shells and pearls that held chocolate kisses. The favors were created by family friends Sue and Carolyn Burkett.
Centerpieces were brightly colored flowers and berries tucked inside my antique store finds, Amber says.
