Amanda Spark and Andy Dana first met in college at a tailgate party hosted by mutual friends. “Nebraska had just gotten smoked by Penn State, so meeting each other was the highlight of the day,” Amanda says. The two hit it off and began dating just a few days after they met. Four years later, they returned to the site of their very first date -- a local Dairy Queen -- and Andy asked Amanda to marry him. After the proposal, it was really the only spot they considered. The Inn at Okoboji played host to all their out-of-town guests and, for the reception, offered amazing views of the western part of the lake. Amanda and Andy played up the setting with a wedding style that was simple and natural, with green and ivory hues and outdoor-inspired decor.
