Amanda Wellington and Andrew Annison were both students at the same high school, but didn’t become friends until they were introduced at bible study. They were immediately drawn to one another, and quickly became an item. After Hurricane Katrina, the couple felt as though their experiences during the disaster cemented their relationship. It’s not nice,” says Amanda. Little did she know, he just wanted to give here an early Christmas gift – an engagement ring! The two soon set out to plan a wedding with help from Amanda’s mom.
