Allison Richards was out at a bar in Boston when she noticed a handsome man in a suit. Michael (Mike) Bogart was that suited man, and he and a friend soon joined Allison and her friends in conversation. He did, however, and when the two went out together days later, Allison was surprised by Mike’s attire. “Again, he showed up in a suit!” she says. “I worried there might not be a casual side to him.” But during dinner, they discovered they had plenty of shared interests, from snowboarding to motorcycles. “Soon after our first date we were cruising around Boston on his Harley,” Allison says. Mike proposed just before the couple closed the deal on buying their first home together, and they were married nine months later.
