Alison and Peter met at a cafe during the White Linen Night festival in the Heights neighborhood of Houston. They spent the entire day and evening walking around the party, and they’ve been together ever since. After clicking the first one, the garage door lifted and music started playing. The second one illuminated a three-foot sign made of Christmas lights that read: “Will you marry me?” Peter had spent the entire weekend putting the set-up together. “It’s hard to describe how awesome this was,” Alison says. “It was so lovely and so unexpected. I still have the sign out in the garage. It takes up a lot of wall space but I can’t bear to get rid of it.”
