Alicia & Quentin: A Purple Wedding in Laguna Beach, CA

When you’re both from Texas and your fiance was a first round NFL draft pick, you’ve got to go big for your wedding. Alicia and Quentin did just that. The Bride Alicia James, 22 The Groom Quentin Jammer, 25 The Date May 29 Now living in Southern California, this twosome invited 300 of their closest family and friends to be part of a celebration that exceeded the call for color. On a coastal bluff in Laguna Beach, Alicia and Quentin exchanged vows surrounded by extravagant springtime floral arrangements in peak bloom.

The beautiful two-post and four-post ceremony arches placed at opposite ends of the aisle were overflowing with vibrant blue hydrangeas; lavender, purple, and white roses; hanging amaranthus; and cymbidium orchids.
The Favors
Inside the ballroom, soft ambient lighting enhanced the fabric-draped walls in lavender and purple tones. At each table, floral arrangements popped out from tall silver trumpet vases strung with clear votives that hung from platinum ribbons.
The Reception
The three-tiered confection was classically iced in white fondant with a swag effect while handmade fondant florals in lavender decorated each layer.
The First Dance
The oceanside wedding inspired Alicia’s vibrant deep blue and violet bridesmaid bouquets. The couple’s initials were tied with ribbon at the stem of each bouquet.  Florist- Mark’s Garden, Los Angeles
Alicia’s nephew carried a quilted purple silk pillow tied with purple ribbon and topped with green and purple blooms.
Alicia’s strapless A-line gown by Monique Lhuillier had a platinum sash that matched Quentin’s Lombardo custom-made suit.
For the cocktail hour, the Montage Resort & Spa’s foyer was transformed into a chic lounge with oversized white couches and purple accents.
