Ali Forck was a high school sophomore when she was cast opposite Nathan Saucier in the musical The Leader of the Pack. Nathan was a hunky senior, so Ali was understandably nervous during their scenes. “I had a huge crush on him,” she reveals. “I even tried to make myself look as glamorous as possible, which was difficult to do in a 1960s bouffant wig.” Whatever she did worked, and the two spent time together that summer before Nathan left for college. They bumped into each other at a softball game a few years later and quickly realized the sparks were still there. Ali gave Nathan her number, fully expecting he’d adhere to the three-day rule, but was pleasantly surprised when he phoned the very next day. “Not only did he violate the male’s unwritten rule to not call for a few days, he also invited me to a party,” says Ali.
