So the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Palm House, which reminded Afshan of the rose-covered Pakistani weddings she'd attended as a child, provided the perfect setting—and inspiration for a botanical-themed wedding. Roses and gold accents paid tribute to Pakistani traditions, and as a nod to David's Israeli-Danish heritage, the couple married under a Jewish huppah.
