Rachel Adler (31 and a teacher) and Ian Longacre (30 and a lawyer) met at a barbecue organized by their mutual apartment complex in Atlanta. Ian decided to strike up a conversation with Rachel and her roommate and decided to offer his phone number. He took Rachel on a date just a few weeks later, and the rest was history. When it came to the proposal, Ian took Rachel on a date to a botanical garden, where he faked an injury as a playful excuse to get down on one knee and ask for her hand in marriage with her great aunt’s diamond ring. For their elegant and romantic wedding celebration, the couple booked Tupper Manor, a historic property built in 1901 in Beverly, Massachusetts. They went with a soft color palette of blush, peach, ivory, and champagne to bring out the venue’s neutral sophistication. The bride even wore a champagne-colored wedding dress (the very first one she tried on!), which perfectly complemented the bridesmaids’ long peach dresses. Although both the ceremony and reception were held indoors, large glass windows provided a mesmerizing ocean view and bright sunlight that sparkled off the mercury glass centerpieces and votive candles. Ian and Rachel held an interfaith ceremony beneath a traditional Jewish chuppah decorated with peonies to match the bouquets. After a dinner of filet mignon, baked haddock, or butternut squash ravioli, the couple cut into their three-tier wedding cake beautifully decorated with blush and white rosettes. For favors, guests could take home individually wrapped moon pies from Ian’s hometown of Chattanooga.

The bride got ready in an elegant monogrammed robe so she wouldn't get makeup on her dress or ruin her perfectly-curled half-up hairstyle. She opted for darker eyeshadow to make her brilliant brown eyes pop.
White Bridal Peep-Toe Shoes with Bows
Rachel fell in love with the first dress she tried on--a strapless, champagne-colored silk dress with an alencon lace bust, ruched bodice, and bustle skirt. She was hesitant when she saw it on the rack, but her mom insisted, and she ended up pleasantly surprised.
Groomsmen with Gray Vests and Peach Ties in Mansion Billiard Room
The groom and his groomsmen wore matching gray suits with light peach-colored ties. They accented the look with bold peach-colored roses to complement the bouquets and table arrangements.
The champagne-colored Paloma Bianca wedding dress had a layer of bustled silk over the tulle skirt. Rachel complemented the look with a delicate, sheer, fingertip-length veil pinned into her half-up hairstyle.
Rachel carried a romantic bouquet of cream and pink garden roses and peonies. For a sentimental touch, she attached a lace flower from her mother's wedding gown to the bouquet wrap.
Rachel picked out matching peach-colored chiffon bridesmaid dresses because peach was "a color that didn't look white to my color-blind fiancé," she says. The flower girl wore a tulle tutu dress in a lighter shade of peach and matched her half-up hairstyle with the bridesmaids.

Classic Wedding Program with Peach Monogram
Rachel and Ian had an interfaith ceremony merging Christian and Jewish traditions. They got married under a traditional chuppah accented with cream and blush peonies to match the bouquets, which created a glamorous covering to match the elegance of the venue's ornate chandelier.
The Elegant Reception with Small Blush Centerpieces at Tupper Manor
Small arrangements of peach and pink garden roses and peonies rested in sparkly mercury glass vases. The bride and groom made the table numbers themselves with wooden numbers purchased from Etsy and spray painted silver to match the centerpieces.
Tall arrangements of peach and pink peonies and garden roses in glass vases captured the soft glow of the sunset streaming through the reception venue's large glass windows overlooking the ocean. At every place setting, Rachel and Ian gave their guests an individually wrapped moon pie as a nod to Ian's hometown of Chattanooga.
The dinner menu included an incredible selection of caprese salad, pumpkin bisque, filet mignon, New England baked haddock, and butternut squash ravioli with light maple cream and pecans. Afterwards, guests were served from a three-tier white and blush rosette-adorned wedding cake make by Jenny's Cakes.
