Florida residents Brook and CJW invited 50 guests to Savannah the weekend before Halloween. To celebrate the end of their single lives and the bride's favorite holiday, Brooke and CJW threw one wicked party. "I asked our vendors to imagine an 'Addams Family soiree' when explaining our theme," says Brooke. "With Savannah's historic, haunted history, I knew it'd be the perfect location for our non-traditional theme."  They went in Chatham Square, and apropros, Brooke traded in white for black.

The pair threw a "Union of Souls," and the vow refrain, "'til death do us part," inspired their haunted decor and color scheme. Case in point: skulls, skeletons, spider webs and spell books set a spooky scene throughout the celebration while bridesmaids carried red roses and moody scabiosas. "People said our wedding might look like a funeral because we asked our guests to wear black, but we thought that was fitting because we were putting our single lives to rest," Brooke says. Jet-black icing concealed a classic flavor combo, chocolate and vanilla, while strawberry shortcake shooters fit the red and black color palette. Guests took home tarot cards, sage sticks, an amethyst stone and a skeleton pin as favors.
