A Winter Wedding at Hyatt Boston Harbor in Boston, Massachusetts

Inspired by their December wedding date, Lara Saracco (27 and a hotel event manager) and Joe Saracco (27 and a financial analyst) embraced the winter season into their wedding theme. They used an art-deco color palette of black, white and gold and added pops of dark red throughout the decor. Since Lara is a hotel event manager, choosing a venue was an easy choice -- her place of work. “After I planned so many weddings there, it was great to get to use all my past experiences to create my day,” she says. “You also can’t beat getting to plan your wedding with your best friends to really customize your day.” Lara and Joe worked with Madison Floral to create all the gorgeous white floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the winter theme and glamorous color palette. One of our favorite parts was the winter-inspired signature cocktails: Dark and Snowy for him and Christmas juice for her. The couple decorated their cocktail hour with black-and-white-striped linens, black chiavari chairs and even black and gold patterned straws displayed in gold mason jars. Lara and Joe were all about the little details throughout their day that made it super-personalized and ultra-local. “We had mini clam-chowder shooters, mini cupcakes with a New England Patriots theme [Joe's favorite football team], a cigar roller and, of course, a late-night snack of sliders and fries with mini Coke bottles and straws,” Lara says. “We had a great DJ, since I was all about everyone having fun.” See all our favorite details, captured by Brittany Blando from BKB and CO, below.
