Kascha Tyree (26 and a teacher) and Henry Adeleye (28 and a software hardware engineer) met during a block party at the University of Georgia. Seven years later, Kascha received an email from an anonymous source, telling her to be at the Founder's Garden on campus later that evening to look for a clue. The scavenger hunt took her around campus until she ended up at the same spot where she and Henry had first met. "I waited patiently and from around the corner came Henry, a dozen pink roses in hand," says Kascha. " And there, in the same spot where we first met and danced at the party, he asked me to marry him!" The couple planned a festive multicultural affair at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Georgia with a red and aqua color palette inspired by Kascha's first apartment. Kascha and Henry had both drummers and as well as a DJ playing both traditional and modern Nigerian music to keep everyone dancing during the entire ceremony. "A lot of our guests had never been to a traditional Nigerian ceremony before, so it was amazing for them to see such culture expressed by our friends and family," says Kascha. A mix of vintage decor and rose arrangements filled the modern reception space and the diverse dinner menu featured classic American and Nigerian food—including Moin Moin and Jollof Rice.
