A Winter Mountain Wedding at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont

Although they both live in Long Island, Corinne Cunningham (29, a Special Education Teacher) and Brandon Roig (33, a Union Plumber) decided to hold a destination wedding at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont, after falling in love with the charming town many years ago on a vacation. Since the couple got married in the winter, the color palette was a simple pink (which went great with the white snow!) and they opted out of flowers, letting the natural beauty of their surroundings provide their decor. After an outdoor ceremony on the patio overlooking the mountains, the couple, both avid snowboarders, snowboarded down the mountain in their formalwear! The cocktail hour served hot chocolate schnapps and hot apple cider to help guests warm up from the cold. A cute, unique touch was the couple's wedding cake--it had bride and groom figures snowboarding down the layers of their "mountain" cake!
