A Winter Church Wedding in Negaunee, Michigan

Elise (27 and a physician's assistant student) and Mark (28 and a student & National Guard SSG) had  been officially dating two months before their engagement -- the perfect example of a whirlwind romance! One month after getting together for dinner, the couple went on a cruise together as their first date in January 2014. On their two month anniversary, Mark proposed to Elise at the Milwaukee Art Museum which Mark specifically chose as the location due to its ship-like appearance as an ode to their first date. The wedding ceremony took place at the church Elise grew up in and the reception was at the nearby Ramada Inn allowing for a short commute for family members. Taking place just two days after Christmas, the theme of the wedding was "rustic Christmas." The ceremony and reception was adorned with red, green and champagne-colored details while Christmas trees and wreaths added an extra touch.
