A White Winter Wedding at Metropolitan Center in Canton, Ohio
Emily Reichard (25, an addictions counselor) and Chris Neely (25, in sales) met as freshman attending a small private college in Ohio. They built a friendship and hung out with each other often in their circle of friends, but lost touch when Chris left school to work. A few years later, Chris reached out to Emily to get back in touch, and the rest is history! The couple had their wedding reception at the Metropolitan Center in Canton, Ohio because of the beautiful historic architecture the venue had to offer. Emily picked out a Maggie Sottero gown with a beautiful ruffled train going down the back. A crystal belt along with a crystal pin on the side accented the strapless gown. The bridesmaids wore one-shoulder dresses with rhinestones on the sides that complemented Emily’s wedding gown. The couple picked a color palette of white, silver, pearl and plum to decorate the winter wedding in. The season was emphasized through the frosted white branch aisle decorations and centerpieces with crystal detail. The wedding cake was five tiers tall and was covered in white fondant icing, with flavors of chocolate, lemon and vanilla. “I think the most important thing to share with future couples is that whatever happens, it doesn't really matter,” says Emily. “You're marrying your best friend and that's what is really important!”
