A White Wedding at Tampa Bay Watch in Tierra Verde, Florida

Veronica Sullivan (30 and in finance) and Kevin Sullivan’s (32 and an anesthetist) all-white wedding turned this classic color on its head with fun bridesmaid dresses, rustic details and a few unexpected accents. “Our wedding theme was rustic and water,” Veronica says. “We wanted to keep everything light, since we were getting married in the summer by the bay.” Life Long Studios captured every moment of the day as it started with a waterfront ceremony, moved to an outdoor reception at Tampa Bay Watch and ended with a dance party on St. Pete Beach. The couple’s florist, A Bride's Bouquet, designed more than a few eye-catching elements for the wedding, including a dramatic, natural wedding arch composed of whimsical bended branches. Their team also designed lush, natural centerpieces for the reception. White roses were paired with white hydrangeas, white lisianthus, succulents and seeded eucalyptus in a variety of neutral urns. With a love for succulents, Veronica carried a similar arrangement down the aisle, which included white garden roses and chrysanthemums accented with dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, succulents and green hypericum berries. Another standout detail: mismatched white dresses worn by each of Veronica's bridesmaids. Lace, cutouts, peplum tops and ruching were just a few of the decorative details that showed up in their wedding party. For future couples, Veronica shares a quick tip: “Relax, and enjoy the day.”
