A White, Pink and Black Wedding at the Addison in Boca Raton, Florida

From the overflowing florals to the color block bridesmaid dresses, Lacey Buonarota (28 and in human resources) and James Guercia’s (39 and an operations manager) wedding puts a new twist on a pink, black and white color scheme. The couple started their day with a first-look and outdoor ceremony. Rows of white folding chairs accented the Addison’s twin Banyan trees as elaborate arrangements of white roses, hydrangeas and calla lilies on glass candelabras lined the aisle. Daniel Events Productions, the couple’s florist, placed each accent on a silver stand for an added bold touch. The couple's bridesmaids started their procession in long, pink and black Alfred Angelo dresses as Lacey followed in grand ball gown. Tight ruffles covered the skirt and long train as intricate beading and embroidery accented her corset bodice. James met her at their garden wedding arch in a black suit, black shirt and white tie. After the ceremony, their arch accented a three-tier white and pink wedding cake at their indoor reception. Each table was met with lush, tall centerpieces of roses and hydrangeas, as each seat was met with a pair of mini cupcake wedding favors. Another sweet, standout detail was James's surprise groom’s cake. Lacey worked with Dana Lannelli to design a single-tier cake in the shape of a saxophone and piano keys to honor his father, who was a musician. For a personal touch, she topped the confection with a line from his favorite TV show, “Friends,” which read: “She's your lobster." In the show, this refers to a soulmate because lobsters mate for life, Lacey says. After a slice of cake, Lacey and James spent the rest of their night on the dance floor before taking a sparkler exit. Poirier Wedding Photography captured every detail, below.
