A White and Purple Wedding at Lake Worth Casino Ballroom in Lake Worth, Florida

High school sweethearts Marisa Medvetz (25 and a teacher) and George Santos (25 and a civil engineer) decorated their beachside wedding with a deep purple and white color palette for an unexpected twist that added just the right touch to their venue. A bed of white flower petals covered the aisle as the day started with a sweet ceremony outside the Lake Worth Casino Building and Beach Complex. “We loved the elegant ballroom and the gorgeous views of...the ocean,” Marisa says. The couple's florist made sure the bride's favorite flowers -- hydrangeas -- accented their simple wooden wedding arch, which was draped in a sheer white fabric. For their reception, purple linens covered each round table, and white hydrangeas in glass trumpet vases served as the centerpieces. The couple’s food and music choices added a more personal touch to their night: A DJ from Kenny Mondo Productions filled the room with throwback favorites from The Beatles and Queen before all were treated to a dinner inspired by George’s Colombian heritage, which included empanadas, chickpeas, pork skewers and habanero glazed pork or herb-crusted chicken. “It was important that our wedding include good food, good music and close family and friends,” Marisa says. The couple ended their night back on the dance floor -- some guests even lifted her up for a song! Enduring Impressions Photography captured these details and more below.
