A White and Navy Wedding at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island in Tampa, Florida

From the whimsical floral accents to the champagne wedding cake, Yanira Albaladejo (25 and a pharmacy technician) and LuisAngel Rodriguez’s (21 and a mail clerk) white, navy and gray wedding put a twist on classic details. Todd Gilman Photography documented the day as it started with a waterfront ceremony and ended with an indoor dance party at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island. “The Destin had every single detail that I wanted in a venue” Yanira says.  Days Remembered by ND and the couple’s florist accented their wedding with a few eye-catching accents. Sheer navy fabric lined the aisle as two whimsical white arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and silver brunia surrounded the altar space on expose-wood branches. Similar displays were used for the couple’s centerpieces as single white plumes were set on each branch. Another standout detail was Yanira and LuisAngel's wedding cake. The five-tier confection was covered with champagne frosting, composed of different-shaped tiers and lined with rhinestones at its base. For an unexpected touch, a bold white detail, floral piping and a quilted pattern with white beads covered the cake. For future newlyweds, Yanira shares a tip: “Don't stress or sweat the little things. In the end, your wedding is going to be more beautiful than you ever imagined.”
