A Whimsical Wedding at The Bungalow in Pleasant Grove, Utah

Taryn Politis (20 and a student) and Nickolaus Crump (20 and a student) met at Brigham Young University before classes had even started, and bonded over poetry they would write back and forth to each other. Nickolaus proposed with a scavenger hunt full memories from special moments they shared together. The couple got married in the Draper LDS Temple and followed with a reception at The Bungalow in Pleasant Grove, Utah. “I chose The Bungalow because it had the perfect charm I wanted,” says Taryn. “The outside is rustic and covered in vines and greenery, and they have lights everywhere.” The color palette of orange, bright aqua blue and yellow brightened the atmosphere of the wedding. Taryn surprised Nickolaus by singing “Alex’s Song” by Grayson Kessenich before their first dance. One memory guests will not soon forget is the father-daughter dance to “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey… According to Taryn, “It ended up being a mosh pit of all our guests and family!”
