A Whimsical Wedding at Four Seasons, Palm Beach in Palm Beach, Florida
While Alissa Stein (28 and a graphic designer) and Mark Rogers (31 and a senior analyst) used all-white florals in their traditional Jewish wedding, the arrangements were far from typical -- with woodland aisle decor and overflowing centerpieces, every arrangement had an unexpected twist. The day started with a sweet outdoor ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort, Palm Beach. Dalsimer Atlas designed four lush displays of white hydrangeas and roses positioned atop exposed wood trunks for the aisle; for a natural touch, moss covered the base of each arrangement. Alissa and Mark’s huppah perfectly captured all of the day's accents: White hydrangeas popped out between each of its four posts, while more hydrangeas, white orchids and white roses covered the canopy. After the couple said "I do," they ended the night inside the ballroom, where the venue’s wedding planner helped Alissa and Mark design a fun reception. Each table was topped with (one or three!) tall arrangements of white roses and hydrangeas atop cylinder glass vases. Some centerpieces even included floating orchids, and low white roses and hydrangeas also accented each place setting. Another standout detail was the couple’s wedding cake. With eye-catching florals covering the room, their venue’s pastry chef took a simpler approach and baked a four-tier all-white confection topped with just a few roses. Each Grand Marnier layer was separated by hazelnut mousse filling. Alissa shares a tip: "Try to stay focused on the bigger picture. You’re marrying the love of your life, and everyone is there to celebrate that.” Jeff Kolodny Photography Inc. captured all of these details and more below.
