A Whimsical Watercolor Wedding at Belo Mansion in Dallas, Texas
Diana Snoyer (26 and a public accountant) and Chad Acevedo (32 and a private mortgage banker) planned a whimsical, glam wedding with a color palette of apricot, lilac, champagne and glittery gold. Belo Mansion in Dallas, Texas, played host, providing a historic backdrop for the fun-filled winter soiree.
With the help of Bella Flora of Dallas, the couple infused the Belo Mansion with color, vibrancy and personality. Suspended tulle poms and ribbon chandeliers hung over the dance floor were just two highlights; rose gold sequined table cloths, flickering candlelight, watercolor stationery and garden-inspired blooms also brought Diana and Chad’s vision to life.
The evening was packed with entertainment ranging from a painter and a caricature artist to a live band and a photo booth. Offering signature drinks and late-night snacks was another fun way for the couple to put a personal touch on the evening. “The whole wedding felt reflective of us as a couple,” says Diana, “but our favorite part of the day was simply having all our family members and close friends together in one place to witness our love and commitment to each other.”
A tip for the taking from Diana: “Find small ways to make each other feel loved every day. We like to write love notes to each other and leave them around the house as a surprise to find!” —Libby MacCarthy
