A Whimsical Spring Garden Wedding at Oneida Golf & Country Club in Green Bay, Wisconsin
With soft flower arrangements and colors, Sarah Schmidt and Andre Kedzierski’s wedding embraced the spring season. The ceremony took place at The Matthew Schmidt Garden at Green Bay Botanical Garden. The site honors Sarah’s brother, who passed away in 2016 and served as an honorary groomsman. “Right from the start, I envisioned a whimsical garden theme with an abundance of flowers,” Sarah says. “I also wanted to have a soft, classic color palette.” The bridesmaids wore muted green dresses, Andre sported a dusty blue tuxedo and Sarah stunned in a vintage-inspired, lace-sleeve gown. Sarah’s uncle, a pastor, officiated the faith-based ceremony. For the reception, the newlyweds headed to Oneida Golf & Country Club. Natural dining tables adorned with rose and greenery garlands highlighted the space. The couple also had a monogram on the dance floor, a classic four-tier wedding cake and a towering macaron dessert.
Our favorite #MakeTradition Moment: “We did not have assigned seating besides the head table, and people were able to mingle, eat and dance as they pleased. This created a really fun and dynamic atmosphere,” the bride says.
