A Whimsical Greek Wedding at Battello in Jersey City, New Jersey

An illustration featuring lemons and bright coral florals served as the inspiration for Jennifer O’Keefe (31 and in asset management) and Robert Patton's (31 and in advertising technology) Greek ceremony and farmhouse-style reception. “We saw our original inspiration come to life,” Jennifer says. A J&R monogram created for the couple’s invitations was interspersed throughout the weekend, from welcome bag notes to menus. Perhaps most memorable: The escort cards looked like handmade postcards. On the front was a map of notable locations with cute details like the couple’s dog, and the back included a personal note to each guest. At the reception, delicacies included a carving station, raw bar and passed treats, such as lobster taquitos and fried chicken and waffles. A milk and cookies bar with spiked hot chocolate and fresh-baked cookies ended the night on a sweet note.
