Textured organza linens, gilded details and towering centerpieces put a Southern twist on Chelsea Riddle (28 and a physician’s assistant and speech-language pathologist) and Reid Castellone’s (30 and a physician) glam, garden-inspired party.

Set on saying “I do” in the same church where her parents wed, Chelsea planned a two-hour-long, full-service ceremony marked by music courtesy of Reid’s sister, who is a professional opera singer. “She sang my mom’s favorite hymn, ‘The King of Love My Shepherd Is,’ and we incorporated all of the same music that my parents used at their wedding,” Chelsea says of the sentimental nuptials.

Chelsea donned a timeless, short-sleeve gown before changing into a modern fit-and-flare dress for the reception.

Guests took home caramel-covered treats from River Street Sweets.

Since Reid proposed at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina, a subtle magnolia motif was a must for the sophisticated stationery suite. Postceremony, the newlyweds made their escape in a vintage Model A Ford — the same ride Reid’s parents drove to their reception more than 30 years before.
