A Whimsical Carnival Wedding at Winter Park Farmer's Market in Winter Park, Florida

Allison Troisi (23 and a sales manager) and Diego Velazquez (27 and a marketing manager) met while working at NASCAR Sports Grille. After a year of pursuing Allison, she finally agreed to go out with Diego. On their one year anniversary, Diego took Allison to Downtown Disney. After a romantic dinner, he took her to the Polynesian Resort on Disney property to the back beach area on the lake to sit in a hammock and watch the fireworks show by Cinderella's castle. In the middle of the show, Diego dropped down to one knee and proposed to Allison with the black diamond ring she had always wanted. Allison knew she wanted to get married in a traditional church with beautiful stained glass windows and a long center aisle, so when they found Winter Park Presbyterian, it was meant to be. For the reception, the Winter Park Farmer's Market had the highest potential for their carnival inspiration. To be anything but traditional, Allison wanted rainbow as the color palette, which was seen in the bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen's ties, and the wedding cake. During cocktail hour, the couple served classic carnival snacks while the dinner service was provided by their favorite food truck, Tree House Truck, which served guilty pleasures such as cheeseburgers, Philly cheesesteaks, mac-n-cheese-stuffed grilled cheese sandwiches, deep fried PB&Js and Oreos. With an original Mr. Softee ice cream truck, milkshakes, popsicles, and sundaes were served to the guests. In carnival fashion, the couple had a midway trailer with traditional carnival games, a high striker, photo booth, caricature artists, a juggler, and a roving magician, to name a few. "We are fun and enjoy thinking outside the box. Our party favors were the caricatures each guest was able to have and take home with them," says Allison.
