A Whimsical Bohemian Wedding at Osborn Farm in Loveland, Colorado
Michelle Shank (28 and an advertising account director) and Gabor Boczonadi (34 and a marketing account director) met at a networking event in Denver, Colorado. Three years later, Gabor proposed in Budapest while they were visiting his family. The couple decided to get married in Colorado since that’s where they met. However, in order to represent Gabor’s Hungarian culture, they committed to an entirely bilingual wedding. In honor of Gabor’s family name, they incorporated cows onto the invitation suite. “Gabor is from Budapest, Hungary, and his last name is Boczonadi, which his family has shortened to Boci for generations,” Michelle says. “Boci means cow or calf in Hungarian and his family is really proud of this. Their business (a small tool/hardware retailer) even has a cow as a logo. We decided to incorporate into our wedding as we start a new line of the Boci family. Now, as our friends and family catch on, I'm afraid we'll end up with an entire house of cow knickknacks!” Michelle and Gabor spent a lot of time DIY-ing everything from the floral arrangements to the stationery to the light up signs at the reception. They even made their own selfie booth with an iPad and a wooden stand. Michelle and Gabor had a whimsical bohemian wedding with a navy, coral, gold and ivory color palette. For dinner, they used Brava! Pizzeria for wood-oven pizza pies.
