Andrea Soltis (32 and a bank manager) and Tony Soltis (33 and a retail manager) met at work and started as friends going to happy hours before beginning their relationship. A year later, they parted ways, but neither can say why. Years passed, and Andrea moved for a new career opportunity. By chance she and Tony bumped into each other at a casino in Pittsburgh and saw their meeting as fate. They began dating where they left off, and six years after they met, Tony proposed at the Pittsburgh Pirates’ PNC Park. The couple decided to get married there as well, since they regularly spend their summers and family outings at the ballpark to see the Pirates play. Andrea chose a simple strapless white wedding dress to stay cool for the June wedding. Her daughter stood as her Maid of Honor. The bridesmaids channeled Audrey Hepburn with black gowns and sparkles everywhere, and the groomsmen wore formal black tuxedos. The ceremony took place above the dugout with the field behind the couple. For the cocktail hour, the couple had a nacho bar, and their guests enjoyed the ballpark food before dinner. Throughout the reception, everyone was up and out of their seats, mingling and dancing. Andrea’s dad sang and played guitar for the couple’s first dance as newlyweds, playing “Hey Pretty Girl” by Kip Moore. “Just enjoy the day,” says Andrea to future brides. “I physically stopped at different points and told myself: ‘Remember this moment.’”

The wedding invitations followed the black and purple theme and featured a quote special to the couple on the front: “What is meant to be will always find a way.”
The bride followed wedding traditions and carried a sixpence in her bright yellow heels.
Andrea wore a simple strapless wedding dress with a textured bodice and empire waist.
Andrea and Tony spend all their summers at PNC Park and got engaged at PNC Park, so they figured they should also be married at PNC Park!
The bride’s grandpa passed away shortly before her wedding day, so instead of a diamond necklace, she wore his wedding band on a chain to keep him close to her heart.

“I have always loved how purple and yellow look together, so those were the colors I wanted for the wedding,” says Andrea. The primary colors were purple and black with yellow accents.
The bridesmaids wore black gowns with lots of sparkles, inspired by Audrey Hepburn and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” The groomsmen wore formal black tuxedos.
Andrea’s daughter, also her Maid of Honor, shared a first dance with Tony to “Dance Baby Dance” by Chris Cagle. “There was not a dry eye in the room,” says Andrea.
