A Waterfront Wedding at Private Residence in Trinity Bay, Texas

Ten years after they met in college, Kathleen Coleman (29 and a teacher) and Tim Coleman (28 and a dietician) found each other again and met up for a drink. Eleven months later, they were saying their final goodbye to the beach at the end of a Costa Rica vacation when Tim revealed a message in the beach sand: “Will you marry me?” The couple got married at the private residence of family friends on Trinity Bay near Beach City, Texas; they had to revise many of their plans last-minute due to rain, but "I would do it over again the same way," says the bride. "It was a perfect night." Kathleen’s uncle officiated their ceremony on the dance floor, and following dinner, everyone danced the night away without getting drenched! A color palette or purple and gray popped against the green springtime grass and waterfront. “Our wedding was very laid-back,” says Kathleen. “We wanted everyone to have a good time and celebrate our love and commitment to one another. Tim and I are forever grateful and words cannot express the love we feel for the sacrifices people made for us."
