A Waterfront Wedding at Chart House in Glenbrook, Nevada
“I wanted Tahoe to be very apparent,” Danielle Leinassar (30 and a teacher) says of her wedding to Daniel Rausch (37 and a mechanic). “I have always known I wanted to be married in Tahoe, and Daniel had always said he wanted to be married by a body of water, so picking Tahoe was an obvious choice.” The Zephyr Cove Resort was a natural choice: It was so close to where they had spent time in Tahoe, and having their ceremony on the Nevada side was a must. Danielle and Daniel decorated in a palette of mint and gray, which they accented with bold coral blooms from their florist, A Wildflower. Danielle brought pinecones from her yard to line the waterfront aisle where they exchanged “I dos.” “Honestly, when you get married in Tahoe, it's so beautiful—you don’t need a lot of decorations,” she says. Later, guests traveled to the reception at the couple’s favorite restaurant, Chart House. The best part? “Our wedding cake was to die for,” Danielle says. They had tiramisu along with a layer of lemon cake and raspberry filling, created by Tahoe Cakes by Grace. See the details below, captured by OrangeDog Images.
