A Warm, Romantic Wedding at a Private Estate in Colt's Neck, New Jersey
Tyler Moore (29 and an electrician) proposed to his high school sweetheart, Casey Pickett (28 and a teacher) at their favorite spot on the beach, under a blue moon. "I had been looking forward to this moment for 13 years," says Casey. "I only love him more and more as the years go by." This adoring couple finally said their vows under a giant, 18th century oak tree at Eagle's Nest Estate, a private residence on Due Process Stables Golf Course in Colt's Neck, New Jersey. Their wedding was colored in shades of gray, orange and red. "Our wedding style was romantic and rustic," says Casey. Chairs on the ceremony aisle were decorated with big, burlap and lace bows, and the altar was indicated with blooming arrangements of tiger lilies and delphiniums. Casey was breathtaking in an ivory silk ball gown and lace jacket, and she wore her hair in a lovely, sideswept updo. Her bridesmaids wore clementine dresses and carried single-stem bouquets of white dinner plate dahlias, while the maid and matron of honor were dressed in spice red. The groomsmen wore gray suits to match Tyler, whose suit was a shade lighter. These warm colors perfectly complemented Casey and Tyler's aesthetic, and their fall wedding was a simply stunning celebration of their love.
