A Warm, Inviting Wedding at Antrim 1844 in Taneytown, Maryland
rn Jennifer "Jo" Oliver (37 and a florist) and Robert Stout (37 and a graphic designer) wanted their November wedding to be warm and inviting without driving home the Thanksgiving theme. To achieve this effect at the celebration at Antrim 1844 in Taneytown, Maryland, they chose a warm palette that steered clear of traditional fall colors and instead included jewel tones like deep pink and gold with blush and ivory accents. Because Jo is a florist, she was able to beautifully incorporate the wedding colors into her flower arrangements. The reception tables were decorated with tall dome-shape arrangements of roses and greenery alongside pedestal vases filled with similar flowers. We love the mix-and-match bridal party bouquets: Instead of having her bridesmaids carry matching bouquets, Jo had one bridesmaid carry a blush bouquet while the other carried a deep pink bouquet. Jo herself carried an ivory bouquet made up of roses, peonies and stock with touches of greenery for texture. To make the bouquets pop, the bridesmaids wore knee-length, A-line dresses in black. Jo herself wore a beautiful A-line tiered lace Augusta Jones dress. Jo and Robert incorporated their love of music into their wedding style by including posters of their favorite bands in their stationery. The modern coral invitation suite featured a poster for the Avett Brothers, and tables at the reception showcased posters of live musical performances that the couple attended together. Even the escort cards were designed to resemble ticket stubs. Sweet Tea Photography captured all the great details from Jo and Robert's day—see more, below.
