A Warm Destination Wedding at Grand Palladium Resort in Lucea, Jamaica

Ingrid Lifleur (26 and a pharmacist) was in Jamaica for a wedding when she told her friend she wanted to meet her future husband soon. Two weeks later, she ran into Shavonne Jones (35 and a social worker) at a restaurant, and the two of them had their first date that night. Since both of their families live across the country and Jamaica was the place where Ingrid made the wish to meet her future spouse, the couple chose to have a destination wedding at the Grand Palladium Resort in Lucea, Jamaica. The unity ceremony was held in an open-air pavilion at the resort. The venue was already surrounded by beautiful palm trees, so Ingrid and Shavonne decorated simply with arrangements of white chrysanthemums. The following reception was held on the beach. The newlyweds had their first dance at sunset, surrounded by all of their loved ones. Because their wedding doubled as a vacation for all of their guests, Ingrid and Shavonne made sure they were all comfortably accommodated. Throughout the wedding weekend, they hosted dinners at the resort for the whole group, so every night was a celebration of their love with their closest friends and family.
