A Vivid and Bright Traditional Wedding at Woodland Hills Country Club in Woodland Hills, California

Erin Bradford (34 and a product marketing manager) was surprised by longtime boyfriend Ranil Wiratunga (29 and a global marketing manager) with a planned proposal scavenger hunt. After five years of dating, Erin was at work one day and roses were delivered to her one by one from different people. The last rose came with a note telling her to go downstairs where a town car was waiting, which drove her to a nail salon to get manicure with her mother. The next destination was to Point Dume Beach in Malibu, California, where Erin's father was waiting. He gave her a hug and then told her to walk out to the cliffs where she found Ranil. He proposed to her right on the cliffs (which she happily said yes to) followed by a romantic picnic dinner at sunset. When it came to planning their wedding, Erin and Ranil wanted it to be classic and elegant. They chose cobalt, gray and green colors to decorate their wedding details with, which the couple felt reflected both their traditional wedding choices and their non-traditional personalities. Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Bernadine's Catholic Church in Woodland Hills, California, followed by their reception at Woodland Hills Country Club in Woodland Hills, California. To honor Ranil's background, the couple chose to incorporate Sri Lankan traditions at the reception with an oil lamp lighting ceremony that signified the two families becoming one. Also, a Sri Lankan wedding cake was served at the reception, with three round tiers colored in blue and succulents decorating the sides and top.
