A Vintage Loft Wedding at Salvage One in Chicago, Illinois
The wedding of Tara Nischbach (28 and a teacher) and Sean Cusack (34 and in advertising) was a stunning mix of contemporary accents, vintage decor and DIY details. Their venue inspired this eclectic style—the couple hosted their wedding at Salvage One, a gorgeous vintage store in a modern loft-style space. The hall features brick walls and exposed air ducts that beautifully contrast with its antique light fixtures and chandeliers. To complement the venue, Tara and Sean set up farmhouse tables with burlap runners for their reception. They decorated the tables with stacks of hardcover books and mason jars filled with baby's breath. Table numbers were also displayed on old hardcover books for a sophisticated DIY look. Also DIY were the calligraphed chalkboard easels that informed guests of the menu and the wedding's Instagram hashtag. Tara and Sean kept the wedding party look clean and crisp for their loft wedding. The bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses in pale peach while Sean and his groomsmen wore gray tuxedos. And we loved Tara's modern mermaid-style wedding dress that featured large rosettes on the skirt and train! Daniela Cardili Photography was there to capture all the gorgeous details.
