A Vintage-Inspired Wedding at The American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog in St. Louis, Missouri
Daphne Rezabeck (a nurse) and Thomas Campbell (a medical student) chose a blue, gray and ivory color palette for their vintage-inspired wedding. Daphne and the bridesmaids carried lush peony, hydrangea, succulent and blue thistle bouquets that perfectly complemented the color palette and set the rustic, vintage tone for the day. The bridesmaids wore blue-gray, knee-length, vintage-looking dresses with ruffled collars and three buttons on one side, while the groomsmen donned timeless black tuxedos. Daphne and Thomas exchanged vows in a traditional religious ceremony at Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, Missouri, because they loved the oversize stained-glass windows and gothic chandeliers of the gorgeous church. Ivory and gold chevron and polka-dotted place settings added a little glamour to the reception tables, and gold candles added a romantic flair. At the end of the night, the couple enjoyed a three-tier white fondant wedding cake decorated with whimsical patterns and polka dots that was topped with two white lovebirds. They also served monogrammed heart-shaped sugar cookies for a personalized sweet treat.
