A Vintage-Inspired Vinyeard Wedding at Casa Rondena Winery in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Yes, it is possible to have a lush, green wedding in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Missy Halick (30 and a project manager and geologist) and Micah Nauck (35 and a geologist) went to Casa Rondena Winery for one of their first dates, so it was the perfect venue for their wedding celebration—plus, it’s completely gorgeous! Manning Florist helped the couple pull off their vintage-boho style with a loose, undone bouquet hand-tied with lace for Missy, wild succulent boutonnieres for the men and a flowering wedding arch that framed the spot in front of the vineyards where Missy and Micah said “I do.” Missy wanted a vintage-chic wedding style, so she wore a lace wedding dress with feather and pearl accessories, and Micah wore a tweed vest, tie and driving cap—all fitting for an old-time feel. Throughout the reception on the lawn, guests took photos in the large hanging antique frame used for the photo booth. A highlight? A Cake Odyssey created a three-tier hexagonal wedding cake that completely represented the wedding theme, from whimsical to vintage. It had buttercream frosting accented with fresh roses and trimmed in burlap and lace, topped with a pair of vintage-inspired love birds to complete the look.
