A Vintage-Inspired, Traditional Wedding at Riverfront Weddings in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Kathy Poploski and Christopher Urso combined industrial and rustic details for their traditional Pittsburgh wedding. The day began with a ceremony at the historic Saint Paul Cathedral, then the bridal party took photos in a local park. Kathy's muted, vintage-inspired bouquet paired perfectly with the bridesmaids' dusty-pink dresses, the men's navy suits and Christopher's floral tie. The following reception took place at Riverfront Weddings, where modern signs welcomed guests to the industrial venue. "Riverfront Weddings is a blank space, so we could make it what we wanted," Kathy says. Long runners of greenery, natural white flower arrangements, custom name tags and printed napkins accented wood farmhouse tables. The wedding also had an understated celestial theme, since Christopher's last name is Urso (think: the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor).
Our favorite #MakeTradition Moment: "In Pittsburgh, it is a tradition to have a cookie table at any wedding," Kathy says. "Many of our family and friends made cookies, and we added desserts from local bakeries. We wanted it to feel like a little bakery!"
