A Vintage-Inspired Mountain Wedding at Bailey's Palomar Resort on Palomar Mountain, California

Molique Chavez (38 and in sales) and Ryan Boulter (28 and a technician) took a trip to San Francisco, California, and went to take a picture in front of the Christmas tree in Union Square. As they posed for the picture, Molique felt Ryan leave her side and turned around to find him down on one knee! The couple had their wedding at Baileys Palomar Resort on Palomar Mountain in California, where they rented out the property for the entire weekend. All of their friends camped in tents while their families stayed in the main house and cabins on the property to have what Ryan called a “camping wedding.” Their rustic, vintage theme came to life through antique decor purchased from flea markets and covered with chalk paint. Molique and Ryan were married in front of a wood platform with an ivory old-fashioned dresser. Guests watched the ceremony from haystacks covered with burlap and linens, and the burlap aisle was lined with baby’s breath arrangements. The reception took place on the lawn of the resort, with dining tables decorated in blue linens and yellow rose centerpieces in wood boxes. The couple and their guests danced the night away inside the rustic dance hall with icicle lights dangling from the ceiling.
