A Vintage Glamour Wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chicago, Illinois

Haley Jun (24) and Michael Lui (25 and a Trader) met through mutual friends in college. She was a freshman interested in art and he was a senior interested in anything else, but these differences didn't stop them. The two had dated for 5 years when, in the style of an old-fashioned date night, Michael took Haley to the navy pier and proposed while riding the ferris wheel, giving her the ring they had designed together. Their wedding was a reflection of their vintage style, held at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Chicago. Their ceremony and reception were decorated in a light palette of creme and lavender which added soft touches to the dark wooden walls of the venue. The tables were covered in lace gold tablecloths and simply set with classic gold finishes and leafy centerpieces to create a timeless look and feel. Serving a 3 hour open bar and a great dj, Hayley and Michael gave their guests hours of fun and excitement. At the end of the night, each was sent home with a key shaped bottle opener Hayley had designed herself online.
