The historic charm of Bissell House in South Pasadena, California, created the perfect backdrop for this vintage-style wedding. "Bissell House is full of charm and character, and made it that much more special to us that we could create our vision," Katy Klempke (27 and in child care) says of her marriage to Adam Klempke (28 and in water distribution). Inspired by the beautiful gardens on the property, Katy and Adam covered the outdoor space with colorful blooms, flowing plants and accents of moss. Katy embodied the vintage look with her ivory Allure Bridals dress entirely accented in lace and a champagne-colored sash. Brown escort cards with vintage keys guided guests to their seats on the lawn, where Katy and Adam sat at a sweetheart table adorned with flowers. Our favorite detail had to be the favors of barbecue sauce that Katy and Adam labeled themselves, captured on camera by Eliza J. Photography. A tip from Katy: "Take wedding planning one step at a time. Everything will work out and you will have a wonderful day to remember forever." 

The white invitations printed with yellow, brown and light blue floral designs reflected the day's garden-inspired vibe.

Katy wore an Allure Bridals dress that combined a vintage and romantic look. The entire gown covered in lace had a deep V-neck back with buttons going down the middle. Her fingertip-length veil added an elegant touch.

All the flower girls held hands with Katy as they pranced around in their adorable yellow dresses with silver sashes. Each wore a crown filled with leaves, bringing a natural element to their look.

The dominant yellow and blue bouquets had flowers of hydrangeas, roses, craspedia and other blooms and greens making up the arrangement. The bridesmaids held the same bouquet, minus a long white lace ribbon wrapped around the stems of Katy's.

Adam wore a light gray three-piece suit paired with a striped gray and white tie that matched his overall look. He had vintage-inspired camera cuff links on his jacket, which added a personal touch to his attire.
Each brown escort tag hung on the wood-framed wire display. A vintage key dangled from each one, adding some vintage flair to the paper goods.

'Better Together' Coral Wedding Chair Signs
Katy and Adam went a nontraditional route for their favors with barbecue sauce bottled in glass bottles. They personally labeled and filled the sauce themselves, giving guests a treat to remember the day.
At the sweetheart table, two chalkboard signs reading "Mr." and "Mrs." labeled the seats where Katy and Adam sat. The centerpiece had an overflowing flower arrangement spilling out of the green lantern, positioned next to a vintage black camera.
The three-tier white wedding cake had accents of colorful blooms used throughout the day. The classic dessert had a topper depicting a bride and a groom, fitting the occasion perfectly.
