Lemise Dajani (28, and a human capital consultant) and Beau Hill (28 and a commodity trader) met as students at Wake Forest University. Lemise and Beau looked to natural moss accents and shades of green, cream and navy to pull off a The Secret Garden–inspired fete that reflected their relationship’s roots. With its expansive property, ocean views and historic Beaux-Arts-style architecture, the couple’s venue provided a charming backdrop for the autumn soiree. A branch arch draped with greenery, ivory flowers and stone urns overflowing with amaranth and hydrangeas infused the ceremony with English garden elegance, while a natural grass aisle was sprinkled with flower petals. The party’s showstopping focal point was a live tree at the center of the reception tent, adorned with moss, ferns and twinkling fairy lights. “I wanted to create a vintage feel that looked as though a party from a 100 years ago was frozen in time, and a garden began to grow up around it,” Lemise says.
