The day David proposed to Rachel he suggested they take a drive to Flagstaff for a day hike. They picked up sandwiches and hiked up a mountain in the rain. At the top of the hike, the path opened up into a beautiful meadow just in time for the sun to come out so they could enjoy a picnic lunch where he proposed. The Bride: Rachel Williams, 32, social worker The Groom: David Rogof, 31, area support manager The Date: October 2010 Rachel's vision for the wedding day was comfortable cottage feel wedding in a vineyard setting, without any stuffiness. Their planner, Mark Padgett, incorporated sunflowers, which are Rachel's favorite flower. Rachel and David chose Paso Robles because of the laid back and welcoming vibe they felt on their first visit.
