A Vibrant, Spring Wedding at Historic Kent Manor Inn in Stevensville, Maryland

Nathan Benefiel (29 and a nurse) did not propose to Sarah Thibault (27 and a veterinary technician) on Valentine's Day. Instead, he waited till the next morning to surprise her. He sent their pet dog to wake her up with the ring attached to his collar. The couple celebrated their marriage at the Historic Kent Manor Inn in Stevensville, Maryland. "The Kent Manor Inn has so much personality," says Sarah. "The inside of this beautiful, historic inn, the perfectly manicured gardens and waterfront ceremony site made it absolutely perfect for an intimate wedding." With a color palette of pink and gray, a vibrant array of roses, dusty miller and greens decorated this romantic spring occasion. "We wanted the flowers to be bright and warm, reminiscent of our adventures in the Virgin Islands." The wedding party dressed colorfully, with the bridesmaids in coral dresses and the groomsmen in pink ties and gray suits. Sarah herself looked radiant in a lace Maggie Sottero wedding dress. The newlyweds and their guests danced to tunes supplied by MyDeejay. "By the end of the night, everyone was on the dance floor and we all had a blast!"
