A Vibrant, Rustic Wedding at The Vineyards & Winery at Lost Creek in Leesburg, Virginia

Courtney Wells Fusco (35 and in sales) and John Fusco (29 and a lawyer) met when John's friend, who was on a kickball team with Courtney, brought him along to an end of the season party. Courtney was instantly attracted to John and started up a conversation with him. It was not until later on in the night when they were on opposing teams of a party game when the sparks really flew. John asked for Courtney's number and the rest is history. After almost a year and a half together, John was ready to propose. Two days before Christmas, Courtney came home from work to find a rose taped to their front door. When she walked in, the apartment was decorated with roses and candles while a slideshow of the two of them was playing on the television. John got down on one knee and proposed while their song played in the background. They chose to have their wedding at The Vineyards & Winery at Lost Creek in Leesburg, Virginia where their families could easily travel to and the scenic setting could provide the perfect fall backdrop. After doing some research, Courtney came across the perfect description for the wedding's style. "So rustic glam it was," she says. Courtney loves fall and its bright colors, so their color palette was poppy red, green and white with vibrant floral arrangements. "Because it was a winery, I wanted to stick with that initial theme," Courtney says. Keeping with the winery theme, they used wine barrels as part of their ceremony alter, wine corks to hold escort cards and menus and wine bottles for the table numbers. Courtney and John's vibrant winery wedding was the perfect way to reflect their fun personalities.
