A Vibrant, Rustic-Industrial Wedding at MyMoon in Brooklyn, New York
Winnie and Mark paid tribute to New York City’s one-of-a-kind vibe with a bold jewel tone color palette and an edgy rustic-industrial venue. The festivities unfolded at MyMoon in Williamsburg, a 19th-century boiler room turned contemporary Spanish restaurant with lofted ceilings and original brick walls. With its striking architectural features and decorative details, Winnie and Mark didn’t need to much to make the space feel wedding-ready. The pair tapped the botanical expertise of fLorEsta to put their personal mark on the space, with bundles of vibrant purple and pink florals adding a lively pop of color to MyMoon’s dramatic interiors. The couple also personalized their table numbers by using photos from their engagement shoot and projected a customized gobo light on the wall outside the venue. For the ceremony, the couple invited guests to join them outdoors on the patio. A clear tent protected them from the rain, while strands of bistro lights brought an element of warmth to the open-air space. Mason jars filled with bright blooms were suspended around the ceremony space for a fresh pop of color. “Stay positive even if the weather doesn’t cooperate fully with your wedding day plans,” the couple says. “We had to tent the outdoor patio for our ceremony. The rain held back during the ceremony, but it was better to be on the safe side. We learned from our guests that it started pouring right after our outdoor cocktail hour ended!”
